All of my ingredients are natural (and locally sourced whenever possible) and contain no chemical additives or preservatives. Because of this, there may be variations in the products.
FAQs
Are the herbal remedies you offer appropriate for children, nursing and/or pregnant people?
This is a very personal decision that can bring a lot of different opinions, and ultimately is a question I can not answer for you. I list all ingredients in the product descriptions so you can make an informed decision. My herbal tinctures and flower essences do contain alcohol, and are meant to be taken in very small doses. If you'd like an alcohol-free version of any of my offerings, please contact me. I will be happy to make them upon request.
Use your intuition and best judgement. And as always, it is best to consult with your primary care practitioner or midwife.

Policies
Payment: Deer Heart Apothecary accepts all major credit cards through this site, as well as Paypal and Venmo. Once your order is shipped we can no longer issue a refund, but if you ship back at your own cost I will happily provide an exchange after the products are received in good condition.
Appointments and workshop fees are non-refundable, so please make every effort to keep your confirmed appointment time. Last-minute changes affect not only my day but my other clients’. I understand things come up and life happens, so I will allow one reschedule. After that our appointment will be cancelled and the fees retained.
Shipping: due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, please allow up to two weeks for your order to be shipped, and international shipping is not available at this time. Please note that while we will make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible, outside factors such as extreme weather and city/government shutdowns can affect our ability to ship in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding!
Refunds & Exchanges: Sessions and workshop fees are non-refundable. We are a very small business. Thank you for understanding.
For events & private sessions, you will receive account credit if you cancel 48 hours or more prior to the booking. There are no refunds or account credit given for late cancellations (less than 48 hours) or no-shows. Can’t make it to your event? Please consider gifting your session to a friend. Much like a concert or other ticketed event, we don’t give refunds or credit for missed events.
Apothecary orders may only be canceled within the first 24 hours of payment for a refund. After that, they are non-refundable. That being said, I will work with you and will be happy to answer any questions before purchasing. We are not responsible for damages that occur in transit. Please contact USPS for reimbursement.
Account Credit Policy
If you have previously canceled something and have account credit, you can use it like cash for any of my offerings. Please email me to apply an account credit to the offering you'd like to attend. You are responsible for paying any difference between the credit amount and the new total.
